It all started with innocent questions.

Soon I realized we were best friends already.

Then we became coworkers at a startup.

Pair programming with my best friend!

Tons of code for me to nod along with.

If there was any problem, the tests would catch it.

QA couldn't keep up with writing tests for the new features we coded.

So we started writing generating tests, too.

That has worked for a while. She's quite a machine!

Now we have several times as many tests as ever before.

That ensures our product will be so much better!

But it took so long to run all these tests! So many VMs!

One day, we made a very tricky change.

I worried about how long it would take us to get to clean results.

I lamented to her that running the tests took so long.

She offered to run the tests for me.

She's always so diligent, and solicitous, and smart!

I showed her how to run them, and how our test reports are supposed to look like.

She learns so fast! Before I was done explaining, she had the results in a beautiful report.

I could hardly believe it! Everything passed on the first try.

And that's how it's been for a while.

The QA guy moved on. Now it's just me and her.

She helps me write the code, the tests, and the test reports.

We've been consistently getting 100% passes.

She's so dependable and predictable!

I guess when something goes wrong, she goes ahead and fixes it.

We've never had regressions any more.

The CEO is loving it.

I can't wait for the launch party!

It's going to be a hit!

This feels like a fAIry tale.

We'll live happily ever after.
